We did not closeout the rudder at the same time we bonded the left VS to the right side of the VS. Tim recommended we not do this for two reasons. One was that closing with flox would be helped by not having to take time to spread it on to the rudders pieces. Second, was that we could leave the rudder off and be able to clean up a lot of the squeezeout. This approach worked very well.
